A Hungarian Love Letter

This castle was built in 1883 at the behest of Baron Sigmund Schossberger, who sought to create a physical representation of his affection for his wife, Therese Mayer von Gunthof. A complete renovation of the castle was undertaken in 2016, following years of neglect and weathering. With specialists of the restoration trade, the historic building received a facelift, while maintaining the original design and iconic clock tower.

Presently, the romantic castle finds itself enveloped by a green sea of forest and a glittering lake, adding to the fable-esque ambience of this property.

BOTANIQ Spa

The castle’s spa offers guests a Finnish sauna, steam room, and salt room, as well as outdoor and indoor pools. The spa’s signature treatment is a full body scrub and facial treatment that consists of a clay-based cream, nourished with field horsetail and calendula. Treatments are 100% chemical-free and vegan, assuring guests that their wellness is the spa’s utmost priority.
